Our response capability is rated via the ISO rating system. We are proud to be listed with a ISO #3 rating. The rating scale lists a #1 as best and #10 as lowest. A portion of the overall rating system takes apparatus into consideration. Our rating is based on 1 Aerial Device and 3 Engines. The Borough companies must operate this combination of equipment to keep our rating of 3. ISO rating directly effects you homeowners and fire insurance premiums. We feel a responsibility to keep this rating as high as possible to benefit our residents

We simply do not have the space inside the building to house this apparatus. Currently the aerial device is housed off site at the borough highway facility and a second vehicle is actually parked outside to the rear of our station. Housing all our apparatus in one facility will drastically improve our efficiency, lower response times, and allow us to better care for the investment we and the borough have made in the purchase of apparatus. Fund Raising We realize the tax base in the borough simply can not fully support the fire service at this time. As much as 80% of our operation is funded by contributions and fund raising activities. The new facility will include a large community room to assist in fund raising efforts. Several funding raising events as well as hall rentals will be offered to assist in funding our operations
