Our facility must be able to withstand forces from common natural disasters. Should we ourselves sustain major damage it would obviously impact our response capabilities severely. The building was planned with this in mind and will be constructed of solid brick, steel and concrete with back up electrical power systems.

Historical Responsibility

Given our location and neighbors historic responsibility has always been a major consideration. While other construction methods may be less expensive we felt it necessary to tie the new in with the old as closely as possible. The types of materials used, and the buildings architecture are based on the existing construction. Our goal is to make the expansion look seamless and complement its historic surroundings
