Company Apparatus

Apparatus has always been a source of pride for all fire companies. In our long history we have had the opportunity to operate anything from an early handpumper to modern aerial equipment.

This section will follow the evolution of our apparatus from the early years to present. Apparatus is classified to three historical areas starting here with Non-Motorized Apparatus and continuing on with:

Early Motorized

Apparatus up to 1960

Modern Motorized Apparatus 1960 and beyond

This is the original ornamental panel  from the hand pumper. These are extremely rare. This panel would be removed and moved from pumper to pumper as the equipment was replaced. All were custom painted by hand to match the individual companies wishes.

This is the original ornamental panel form the Silsby. This would state to build number and other pertinent information. Most companies removed these plate for mementos before replacing the units
