Truck 28 is owned by the borough of Mechanicsburg and housed to the rear of the Police Station on West Allen Street.
Originally purchase by the borough on 1972, it was completely refurbished, including a new chassis and re-titled in 1990. Only the boom sections and turntable remain from the original vehicle.
The Truck responds first alarm in Mechanicsburg Borough, and parts of Upper Allen, Monroe and Silver Springs Townships
Designation of this vehicle was
changed to Truck 28 in August 2005
