Truck 28 is owned by the borough of Mechanicsburg and is housed at the borough garage on West Allen Street.
Originally purchased by the borough in 1972, it was completely refurbished, including a new chassis and re-titled in 1990. Only the boom sections and turntable remain from the original vehicle. In 2010, Truck 28 went through a face lift with major body repair and was repainted to match the other first line rigs of the company..
The Truck responds first alarm in Mechanicsburg Borough, and to parts of Upper Allen, Monroe and Silver Spring Townships
